Marc Schneider教授简介：

Marc Schneider studied physics at the University of Kaiserslautern, at the Ruprecht-Karls University and at the Free University Berlin where he graduated in 1998 working on the use of two-photon excitation and activation of photodynamic active dyes at the Robert-Rössle-Klinik at the Max-Delbrück-Centrum for Molecular Medicine (MDC) in Berlin-Buch. From summer 1999 he was investigating the interaction of single polyelectrolyte molecules at solid surfaces at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Golm/Potsdam (MPI-KGF). He received his Ph.D. in 2002 at the University of Potsdam.

2007 he got a Professorship for Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology at Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany.

Areas of research: Interaction of pharmaceutical drug delivery system with biological material on the nano-scale on the basis of scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and fluorescence microscopy. Especially, mechanistic interaction at the skin barrier and mucus interaction are in the focus of his work.
