专家简介:LORENZO PATTELLI研究员,目前就任于Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica, Turin, ItalyEuropean Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy。欧洲计量合作项目“被动辐射冷却技术表征技术的标准化制定”负责人,569次文献引用,H-index 12,APS、OSA/Optica、Springer/Nature、IOP、Wiley、ANVUR 审稿人。

讲座摘要:辐射制冷可以通过红外大气窗口8-13μm向太空辐射热能,实现被动降温,这已被证明是一种没有任何能量输入的有效制冷策略。提高辐射制冷材料的制冷效率更有利于可持续发展,缓解全球变暖。近年来,日间辐射制冷材成为了研究的热点。

然而,目前对于辐射制冷材料的性能评估仍然缺乏规范性的标准。报告人将针对这一问题首先对辐射冷却的主题做总体介绍,其次,重点介绍评估不同类型辐射制冷装置的冷却性能所面临的突出挑战,以及对这项技术进行标准化的倡议主旨。

SUMMARY:A wide range of materials has recently emerged that can provide passive daytime cooling by radiating thermal energy to space through the infrared atmospheric window (8 – 13 μm). Due to the energy-intensive nature of cooling systems, increasing their efficiency represents a unique opportunity for sustainable development, mitigating both the causes and effects of global warming.

However, the field still lacks established protocols to assess the cooling performance of different materials. The reporter will provide a general introduction to the topic of passive radiative cooling, touching on the outstanding challenges for the evaluation of the cooling performance of different passive radiative cooling devices and the objectives of the PaRaMetriC initiative for the standardization of this new technology.
