报告题目:Control of fuel cell systems: issues and solutions

报告摘要:
More than one century after its invention, fuel cell technology has been attracting more and more attention during the last two decades. Fuel cells, thanks to their environment friendly property and excellent performance in ideal condition, have been demonstrated to be applicable in multiple applications. But they still suffer from high costs and low availability. Oddly enough, the low availability has almost always been due to control issues rather than problems in the fuel cells themselves. This challenges the corresponding researchers and engineers in both industrial and academic community. In this report, after reviewing the developing status of fuel cell technology, the control issues related to fuel cell systems will be summarized and analyzed. Following that, the possible solutions and the ongoing studies aiming to overcome these issues will be studied to provide a general view concerning this research domain.
报告人简介:
Zhongliang Li, Associate Professor of Aix-Marseille University, Laboratory of Science of Information and System (LSIS CNRS 7296), France. Dr. Zhongliang Li received the B.S, M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, China, in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and PhD degree in automation from Aix-Marseille University, France, in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he was a postdoctoral research associate with laboratories FEMTO-ST (UMR CNRS 6174) and FCLAB (CNRS 3539), France, working on several European R&D projects. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Information and Interaction in Aix-Marseille University, France. His research is mainly carried out in Laboratory of Science of Information and System (LSIS CNRS 7296). His research interests include modeling, diagnosis, prognosis and control designed for energy systems, as fuel cell systems, electric vehicles, and micro-grids. He is currently involved in a number of European H2020 projects and French national research projects on fuel cell systems and fuel cell vehicles.
