讲座题目:Planning Reliable Service Facilities against the Threat of Disruptions and Congestion in a Continuous Space(应对失效和连续空间拥挤威胁的可靠服务设施规划)
      讲座简介:Many service systems are composed of interrelated facilities that jointly serve spatially distributed demand. Establishment of such facilities could induce or alter customer traffic that exacerbates congestion in the neighborhood, as customers often choose their own service facility and access path. The situation is further worsened by the risk for the service facilities to be disrupted. This talk presents models for reliable service facility design under traffic equilibrium in a continuous space. We first discuss solution methods for a class of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDE) that describe continuous traffic equilibrium. We show that under certain conditions the PDE can be solved, either exactly or approximately, in closed analytical forms. We then develop several facility location/layout design models that deals with probabilistic disruptions. When closed-form PDE solution is available, the reliable design models reduce to a much simpler nonlinear program. This talk will also briefly explain a few other research thrust areas.

主讲人简介:
      欧阳彦峰,美国伊利诺依大学香槟分校(UIUC)教授,博导,美国伊利诺依大学交通研究中心副主任,中美铁路联合研究中心主任。教育部长江学者讲座教授(哈尔滨工业大学),哈尔滨工业大学交通科学与工程学院境外兼职教授(博士生导师)。先后在清华大学获得学士学位,在华盛顿大学获得土木工程硕士学位,在加州大学伯克利分校获得工业工程与运筹学专业硕士学位和土木工程博士学位。
      欧阳彦峰教授长期从事交通系统工程、物流及旅客运输规划、可持续城市管理、交通流理论及应用、交通安全及基础设施管理等方面的研究工作。已发表期刊学术论文100余篇,其中多发表在Transportation Research Part B、Transportation Science、Operations Research等研究交通系统工程和运筹学的国际顶尖期刊上。现担任IIE Transactions、Networks and Spatial Economics、Transportation Science、Transportation Research Part C和Transportmetrica B等交通领域一流SCI期刊的领域主编或副主编。曾获美国规划学会技术研究优异奖,美国土木工程学会Walter L. Huber杰出研究奖,美国国家科学基金会杰出青年教授奖等。
