主讲人信息介绍：

Dr. Xin Dong is an assistant Professor in Engineering Design for Manufacturing and deputy director of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre (UTC) in Manufacturing and On-Wing Technology at University of Nottingham. His research interests are continuum robots for inspection repair in confined space, innovate tooling systems and walking/crawling robots. Since appointed as academic staff in 2017, he has been participating in two EPSRC projects and one Innovate UK project as project manager. In all of these projects, he leads the development of different concepts of continuum robots and walking hexapod robots for the applications in extreme and challenging environment. He is Research Affiliate of the Int. Academy of Production Engineering – CIRP.

Mrs. Lucy Rose is the Admissions and Partnerships Manager in the Education and Student Experience team within the Faculty of Engineering. She has 9 years experience supporting students through the recruitment and admissions process and running a variety of activities outside of the academic curriculum designed to enhance the overall student experience at Nottingham.
